A New Way to Measure Fitness Results
We’re using some exciting new technology to help members track the results of their wellness progress. A Styku Body Scanner can now take the place of old-style step-up weight scales, which can provide confusing information about fitness results.
One of the participants in our weight management program, Weigh to Change, has been working so hard, exercising and eating right. After 5 1/2 weeks she had lost about 8 pounds and was discouraged with the scale. She felt great but thought she would have lost more. Her coach and our nutritionist explained to her that it is about the long term, lifestyle changes, not the short term weight loss. Then she came in for a body scan on our Styku Body Scanner and was so pleased to see that she has lost 8 lbs but has also lost 8 inches from her torso. Well, of course she felt success after that!
