AN AMAZING NIGHT TO CELEBRATE
The Legends Ball is our YMCA’s signature event, raising funds for our innovative Integration Initiative. It is an evening of distinction featuring New England sports legends and bestowing the Legends Award to a sports legend for their passion and commitment to children with special needs and their families.
For more than 11 years, the Integration Initiative has been responding to the emerging needs of local children and families, providing opportunities for children with special needs and disabilities to participate alongside their typically developing peers in YMCA programs, activities and services. At this event, you will see the smiling faces of our Integration Initiative participants and their families, hear the powerful stories and feel the impact of this life-changing program. The Legends Ball is a celebration and recognition that together as a community, caring for one another, accepting one another, we bring friends and neighbors closer and connect all of us to a larger purpose.
